Gaming professionals are invited to make their voices heard in the 2019 edition of the British Casino Awards by submitting their votes in a number of categories before Wednesday 2 January.

The awards, which launched to critical acclaim last year, is organised by Casino International publisher Datateam Business Media in association with the National Casino Forum (NCF) and serves as a platform for championing excellence in the gaming sector.

Entries for the 2019 edition opened in September and manufacturers, operators and individuals from across the gaming industry were keen to submit their entries and nominate other incredible companies that they work alongside.

As the scheme has now moved in to the decision making stage, those vying to win a prestigious accolade can only rely on their impeccable reputations and rally the support of their industry peers – with some categories being decided entirely by an online vote.

Gaming professionals are invited to pick their winners in a number of categories, including Independent UK Casino Operator of the Year; Multiple UK Casino Operator of the Year; Overall Casino Operator of the Year; European Casino Operator of the Year; Best UK Marketing Programme; Best UK Casino Customer Service; Best UK Table Gaming Product (including ETG); Best UK CMS/Software Product and Best Slot Machine.

The winner of the Best UK Casino Restaurant accolade will also be decided by an online vote but in this particular category members of the public are permitted to vote in addition to industry professionals.

Submitting a vote in the British Casino Awards is quick, easy and free. The online form will be available until the deadline of Wednesday 2 January.
An anonymous panel of experts will be tasked with rigorously reviewing the entries in the remaining categories, which include the National Casino Forum Diversity and Inclusion Award; Corporate Training Investment Award; Rising Star; CHIPS Corporate Community Engagement Award; CHIPS Community Engagement Award (Individual) and the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award.

Finally, in response to industry demand, an additional ‘judged’ category has been introduced for the 2019 edition of the scheme; the Outstanding Contribution Award. This accolade will be bestowed upon an individual – working for or with a supplier – that has made a significant and positive impact on the UK casino industry.

The online vote will produce a shortlist of five elite companies/individuals in each category, to be announced on Monday 7 January. Among the finalists will be the 2019 winners which will be revealed – along with the finalists and winners in the judged categories – at the British Casino Awards ceremony.

British Casino Awards heads to Quaglino’s
Royalty and nobility have passed through the doors of Quaglino’s and on Tuesday 5 February, the iconic restaurant will host the gaming industry’s most elite – providing a glamorous backdrop for the 2019 British Casino Awards.

Set in the heart of London’s St. James, the venue oozes decadence and will ensure that every single guest at the ceremony can enjoy a hard-earned evening of celebration and networking in the lap of luxury.
